Terms of Service
Effective date: November 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of TengTeng AI (TENGTENG) (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the TengTeng services. By registering, signing in, or using the services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the services.
Please pay particular attention to the provisions shown in bold, which exclude or limit our liability or limit your rights.
This English version applies to users who use the services outside mainland China. Users in mainland China are governed by the Chinese version. Where we publish a version of these Terms for a specific region, that version applies to users in that region.
1. Scope of the Services
These Terms apply to the following services (together, the “Services”):
- the TengTeng website tengtengai.com, including product information, membership registration, subscription management and credit tracking;
- the TengTeng desktop clients (Mac and Windows), which are downloaded and installed separately;
- the TengTeng AI web app at app.tengtengai.com, which provides registered users with workspaces, workflows, chat, knowledge bases and digital employees.
Digital employees are automated programs powered by AI models that carry out tasks according to the instructions and workflows set by you or your team. They are not human. Features are limited to what is actually available; beta features may change, be paused or be withdrawn. Account and credit rules for website membership and the web app are as described on their respective pages.
2. Accounts and Security
You may register and sign in with your email address; any other sign-in methods we offer are as shown on the sign-in page. You must provide a real email address at which you can be reached, keep your credentials safe, and not share, lend or transfer your account. You are responsible for losses caused by your failure to keep your credentials safe.
Content in a workspace is the responsibility of the user who created or uploaded it, and workspace administrators may manage members and permissions. If your account is compromised or at risk, contact support@tengtengai.com immediately.
3. Subscriptions, Credits and Refunds
If we offer paid services, plans, prices and credit rules are shown on the pricing or purchase page, and the page shown at the time of purchase applies.
Unless otherwise required by law or stated on the page, a subscription period that has started is not refundable for the remaining period.
If a subscription is not renewed when it expires, your benefits will change according to the rules on the page.
4. Your Content and Intellectual Property
“Your Content” means the text, files, knowledge base materials, workflow configurations, conversation records and other content you enter, upload, generate or save when using the Services. Your Content belongs to you or the original rights holder.
You represent that you have the right or authorization to upload your content and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, trade secrets, personal information or other rights.
To provide the Services (including storage, retrieval, sending content to AI models to generate responses, running workflows, backups and security), you grant us permission to process Your Content to the extent necessary to provide the Services. We do not sell Your Content.
We do not use your inputs, uploaded files, or generated outputs to train or improve any AI model. For how model providers handle data, see Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property in the Services themselves (software, interfaces, the “TengTeng”, “腾腾” and “腾腾AI” marks, documentation, etc.) belongs to us or the relevant rights holders. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or otherwise exploit them without our written permission.
5. AI-Generated Content
Responses, files, code, conclusions and similar output in the Services are generated automatically by AI models and are AI-generated content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or untrue, and does not represent our views.
You should evaluate and verify AI-generated content yourself. Do not rely on it as professional advice in medical, legal, financial, investment, safety or similar matters; consult a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use, publish or act on AI-generated content. When you publish it, label it as AI-generated where the law requires, and do not use it to mislead others.
6. Digital Employees and Automated Workflows
You can configure digital employees or workflows to perform tasks for you, such as searching the web, reading knowledge bases, calling APIs, or reading and writing data in third-party apps you have authorized. These actions are carried out according to the instructions and configurations of you or your workspace members and are treated as your actions.
Automation may produce unexpected results because of model errors, outages of external services or misconfiguration. Before enabling automation, check the instructions, permissions and triggers, and add a human approval step for irreversible actions such as sending messages, changing or deleting data, or making payments. You can pause or delete digital employees and workflows at any time.
7. Third-Party Services and Authorizations
The Services use third-party services, including AI model services, web search and crawling services, email services, payment services, and third-party apps you choose to connect (via account authorization or API keys). See the third-party list in our Privacy Policy.
When you connect a third-party app, you authorize the Services to access it on your behalf within the permissions you grant. The availability, content and data processing of third-party services are governed by their own terms. You can disconnect or delete credentials in the product settings, or revoke authorization on the third-party platform.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- violate any applicable law, endanger national security or public interests, or generate or distribute content prohibited by law;
- infringe others' intellectual property, privacy, personal information or other rights, including collecting others' personal information without authorization;
- create or distribute false information, fraud, phishing or spam, or impersonate others;
- attack, interfere with or damage the Services or any system, including malicious scraping, bypassing access controls, injecting malicious code or exploiting vulnerabilities;
- access the Services at scale by automated means without permission, or resell or sublicense the Services;
- attempt to extract models, prompts or system implementation, or violate the usage policies of connected third-party services;
- otherwise abuse or attack the Services.
Depending on the circumstances, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts, and report to the competent authorities as required by law.
9. Changes, Interruption and Termination
We may suspend parts of the Services for maintenance, upgrades, security or force majeure, and will try to give advance notice. You may stop using the Services and request account deletion at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how data is handled after deletion. If you materially breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account.
10. Minors
The Services are intended mainly for adults. Users under 18 (or the age of majority in their region) should use the Services only with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly provide the Services to children under 14 (or the minimum age required in their region), and will promptly delete their personal information if we learn it was collected by mistake.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is”. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content, the availability of third-party services, or decisions you make based on AI-generated content or automated results.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the fees you actually paid for the relevant Services in the 12 months before the loss occurred, or CNY 100 if you used the Services free of charge.
These limitations do not apply to liability for property loss caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, liability for personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect through a website notice, in-product message or email. If you continue to use the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, you may stop using the Services and delete your account.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably; if that fails, either party may bring the dispute before the competent court at the operator's location.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under the consumer protection or other laws of your country or region of residence. Where we publish a version of these Terms for your region, the governing law and dispute resolution provisions of that version apply.
